South Pointe Plaza is a 230 bed skilled nursing center located in the heart of South Beach, just one block from the ocean amid many shops and attractions of South Beach.

  At South Pointe Plaza the comprehensive rehabilitation programs are directed towards assisting our residents to reach their maximum level of functioning following a hospital stay.  All therapy programs are geared towards the rehabilitation of residents whom may have suffered a Stroke, a hip or other fracture, or major and minor surgeries.  The South Pointe team of highly experienced Licensed Therapists work with our team of Physicians to create a therapy plan tailored to meet the unique needs of each resident. We offer Physical , Occupational, and Speech Therapy services, in a fully equipped Therapy area which encompasses the entire fourth floor of South Pointe Plaza.

We are proud of our team of highly experienced facility staff. Department Managers in Nursing Services, Dietary Management, Social, and Recreational Services work as a ?team? to develop a plan of care aimed at maximizing each resident's level of function. Each professional has an open door policy to address the family's concerns regarding their loved ones care.  We also take great pride in our restorative and wound care programs that are staffed by highly trained experienced health care professionals. Our staff is committed to South Pointe Plaza; many of our Nursing Assistants have been employed at the facility for 15  years.

In addition to our short-term Rehabilitative services, we provide long-term care to many residents. South Pointe Plaza is one of the only facilities in Miami that has a specialized secured Alzheimer's Care Unit designed to provide a safe stimulating environment to the Alzheimer's resident.  Staff on this unit are specifically trained to care for this specific resident population. It features a structured recreational program designed to meet the unique needs of each resident in the unit..
